Aqva Divina by Bvlgari is a Floral Aquatic fragrance for women. Aqva Divina was launched in 2015. The Nose behind this fragrance is Alberto Morillas. Top Notes are salt, ginger and bergamot; Heart Notes are quince and magnolia; Base Notes are woody notes, beeswax and amber.

I have mixed feelings about this perfume, many say it is a perfume that evokes the sea and summer, I find it too heavy to wear on hot days, much more in summer! It is a salty perfume, it reminds me of my grandparents’ perfumes, those dense colognes. It is not a perfume for young girls, it is a fragrance for mature women. I like it a lot, however I don’t use it very often because I notice its scent on my skin, there is something about it that makes me love it and hate it at the same time.

I don’t feel it’s a fresh fragrance at all; I find it extremely salty and woody with a clear beeswax base, quasi-masculine. I think that women who wear Aqua Divina are very sure of our identity! It’s not a perfume for everyone, and understandably so!!! You either love it or hate it, there is no middle ground. It is definitely not a perfume for daytime and not for summer either, even though the most prominent note is salt…maybe for a summer night by the sea yes…it doesn’t have a good hold on my skin, it lasts 2-3 hours max.
